Study...Pray...Worship...Act

The Call

The Call to Ministry can come over several days or over several years. But it is answering the call and taking the necessary steps to be obedient to that call which is so important. As a Christian and a Seminarian there are important elements I'm incorporating into my daily life and routine to accomplish spiritual formation and maturity. These elements are to Study, Pray, Worship, and Act

STUDY

Academic Study
As an MDiv student follow me as I study to show thyself approved- 2 Timothy 2:15

Devotional Daily Bible Study
Devotional study is essential to spiritual growth - Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4

Corporate Bible Study
Corporate study allows us to learn from one another. The word of God tells us, Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them”

A call to action - Matthew 25:35-40 – “35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me…..”

Acting on God's Will
Luke 9:23 “Then he said to them all: Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me”
